That is the mystery
Age, what the screenshots show is loud and clear: 15 axe mastery with 13 strength. Against all those targets, the AP% from strength added merely 8 damage. He used Wild Blow to find the exact amount of damage that strength adds since it's always a crit hit. And since whenever you use an attack skill it won't always be a crit hit, the ap% from strength will probably only add about 3-6 damage on average.

Not entirely true
Most PvP warriors don't use it because they read it sux and because the build they use is from <insert random build site/forum>. Which doesn't change the fact STR is usefull only if you are using related skills=
Also, it;s not the same but soul reaping is just the best place to dump points which limits other attribute usefulness (no points left). Same goes for most professions. Which adds up for the question if we had to put STR points to be usefull at all (try paragon w/o Leadeship... no way to use all those 10 energy things), would we so willing to do so?

ArKaiN,martialis. You two are getting flamey now aren't you especially ArkaiN in that last post about seeing certain Doctor. That is called rubbing and baiting if you didn't know anything about forum conduct. Those shall post in civil tone.I could get all flamey here but me being Forum Jr. Admin. knows better so I won't.I would suggest to the 2 of you to read the forum rules.I will be getting a Mod to take care of this thread. You forgot the shield it need strength as tactics one aren't that great. You test with full skill bar.

Age, your "Forum Jr. Admin"ery on another forum means nothing here. Srsly.
However, I'll ask that the arguing stop. This is a thread about a build, so help the OP - don't argue with each other. My 'Close Thread' trigger is sensitive.

He doesn't care about knowing things, he only cares about sharing his opinion. This one did the same thing, for over a year. Keep up the good work, I guess.

Sorry nkah, but as a psychology student I find this imperviousness to logic and reason quite fascinating.
Again, my test proves beyond shadow of doubt strength does not add damage (well, it does, at a worse ratio than the amazing [skill]strength of honor[/skill])
There are exact copies of every strength shield in the tactics attribute.
I just wanted to clarify this so people don't dump their attribute points into this useless attribute if they're not carrying str skills. Should I move it to PM's or another thread?

How about this?
I'll be testing out Flame Djinn's Haste and Inferno as a special treat for adjacent foe . With a fiery axe (collector's with +5 egy) of enchanting and an offhand instead of shield (ran with an offhand as W/Rit quite successfully), shouldn't this be perfectly fine for PvE in most areas?
Obviously in some areas such as the Fire Islands, ice/water would be a better element to use.
Thoughts, suggestions?

Hilarious....But Shock has some use in PvP. . .
Wow, I'm glad I read this. 2.75 campaigns later and I think I have 16 points in Str. Have always wondered why my damage output seemed so craptastic
